Mexican Chili
- 1 pound(s) hamburger
- 1 can(15 oz) chili beans, hot and spicy
- 1 can(15 oz) chili beans, hot
- 1 can (28 oz) tomato(es); cut up
- 1 1/2 cup(s) celery; chopped
- 1 cup(s) onion; chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) bell pepper; chopped
- 1 can (4 oz) chili peppers; chopped, seeded
- 2 tablespoon(s) sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) marjoram; dried, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- 1 to-taste black pepper
In crockpot combine beans, undrained tomatoes, celery, onion, tomato paste, green pepper, green chilis, sugar, bay leaf, salt, marjoram, garlic powder and pepper. In skillet brown ground beef; drain and stir into tomato mixture. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
Skim off excess fat. Remove bay leaf; stir before serving.
